Tommy Futch is a proud member of Dad's Garage. He is also the President of Laughing Matters, an interactive entertainment company. Futch, the third of four children, was born in 1954 and raised amid the humidity, mosquitoes, and alligators of swampy South Georgia. His life changed dramatically in 1971 when he was injured in a car collision near hometown of Nashville, Georgia. Futch was paralyzed from the waist down. Everything he knew about life was altered or no longer applied. For the next 10 years, he dabbled in school, work and self-gratification. In 1982 he moved to Atlanta to find more sidewalks. Tommy has one son, Tom, and seven grandchildren. His son is quite fertile. In 1984, Futch took a comedy course and discovered his passion—improv comedy. He's done a zillion shows and hopes to do a zillion more. On any given day, you can find him selling, performing or producing corporate events throughout the South.
