TheatreSports

Year Round – Saturdays @ 10:30 pm

$13 Advance, $15 Door

An audience favorite for years, TheatreSports is the officially licensed version of Improv Competition. Featuring two teams of improvisers with a host/referee and, of course, the judges to boo and hiss. Dad's Garage is the only place in Atlanta you can see TheatreSports!

Murder, She Improvised

Fridays Sept. 7 – Nov. 30, 2007 @ 10:30

$10 Advance, $12 Door

Something is afoot at The Sunny Arse Hotel! And only Sir John Holmes can get to the bottom of these devious (and hilarious) murder mysteries. Will his keen mind and the audiences help be enough? You’ll have to join us for a new mystery every week to find out!

Ask Dr. Frapples – Improv Psychiatry

Fridays Dec. 7, 2007 – Feb. 22, 2008 @ 10:30

Tickets $10 Advance, $ 12 Door

Lie down on the couch, relax, and let Dr. Bob Frapples put your mind at ease. A Dear Abby-style improv show, audience members pose personal questions to Dr. Bob that he will answer in front of their very eyes. With the help of his grad students acting out possible solutions along the way, Dr. Bob is sure to cure what ails ya!

Scandal! The American Revolution

Fridays Feb. 29 – May 16, 2008 @ 10:30 pm

Tickets $10 Advance, $12 Door

Amidst the backdrop of the American Revolution, there's a British Colony called Little Five Ports and that Colony is filled with...Scandal! Yes, after taking a year off, the unstoppable Dad’s Garage ensemble returns with another season of Atlanta’s only improvised soap opera…Scandal! Many a musket is bound to be fired, powdered wigs will unquestionably be tousled, and taxes are sure to be imposed sans representation. So choose your alliance wisely, and don’t miss a single episode of this Patriot vs. Loyalist performance.

Samurai Davis Jr. and Dim Sum’s Super Mega Happy Fun Time Improv Show!

Fridays May 23 – July 25, 2008 @ 10:30 pm

Tickets: $10 Advance, $12 Door

This truly outrageous Japanese-style game show was a smash hit for Dad’s in the Spring of 2007. Hosted by Samurai Davis Jr. and Dim Sum (think Monty Hall if he was 2 Asian men) - this innovative improv format is like Let’s Make A Deal meets Double Dare. Improvisers choose from 3 closed doors and must incorporate whatever’s lurking behind them in their scene, and the losing team is punished in a number of disturbingly hilarious ways…that usually involve some sort of food you wouldn’t normally want to ingest.
