Vavianna joins us today in anticipation of her newest vivacious venture, Vavianna Vardot’s Famous Sex Party Presents: Murder on Vavianna Island: An Immersive Burlesque Cocktail Sexperience (MoVI). The title may seem (much like Vavianna herself) a bit much, but trust us: MoVI lives up to its name and then some.
At the start of the show, we find ourselves on the steamy private island of Vavianna Vardot, who has graciously offered up her personal oasis to host the wedding of her (many times) ex-husband Remington Demetrious to his newest fiancee, an influencer named Cressly. On Vavianna Island, the burlesque is hot and the fruity drinks are plentiful, but all is not as idyllic as it seems. Hidden tensions, past histories, and libidos rise as the hour of the nuptials grows closer and rumors swirl: Will Remington really marry Cressly? Will the wedding party make it out alive? How does Vavianna’s hair stay perfectly coiffed in this humidity? The answers to these questions and more await you at MoVI—along with three beverages of your choice included in your ticket purchase. Paradise beckons, so come get naughty or we’ll start without you!

DG: So, how did you come by a private island?
VV: It was gifted to me by Jimmy Carter. We were lovers for a short time before he married Rosalyn. I must've made an impression. It was an uninhabited barrier island off the coast of Georgia that we used to film The Island of Wet Murder.
DG: Tell me about your relationship with your ex-husband, Remington Demetrious. I assume you’re on good terms since you’re hosting his wedding?
VV: Remington and I have been married five glorious times. He has meant a good deal to me throughout my life. I will likely marry him again. It’s never off the table.
DG: What do you think of his newest fiancee, Cressly?
VV: She’s, as the kids say, a lot. But I’m sure I was a lot at that age. She keeps Remi young.
DG: What can we expect from the pre-nuptial festivities? Is there a theme?
VV: The theme at any celebration I throw is always Sex. We have a lot of fun and there is something about the island—it exudes sensualness. It’s almost impossible not to dance while you are here.
DG: What’s the dress code on Vavianna Island?
VV: Sexy tropical chic.
DG: What’s your sign?
VV: I’m a Gemini. The multiplicity helps with all the marriages.
DG: Are you single?
VV: Never, darling.
MoVI premieres Friday, June 6, 2025 and runs Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through June 28, 2025. The lobby opens at 7 p.m., showtime at 7:30. Preview performances are May 29 - 31 and June 5, 2025.
